beook is not only the app you use, but also stands for many background services that are required by the app. To keep the app and the background services compatible, updates are essential from time to time. Therefore, beook is updated regularly. Normally, possible software updates are displayed when the programme is started. Afterwards, the app must be closed and restarted.
Current version installed? Check this in the general programme settings.
For the mobile versions on iOS and Android, the update message is communicated and initiated via the standard app update path.
You can check and refresh the user with all their accounts and the licences linked to them. Proceed as follows:
- Select the portal via the house icon in the top left-hand corner
- Click on the user name at the top right
- Select "Update account and licences".
As feedback, a message is displayed if everything went correctly or if there were any problems during the refresh.
In the settings, under Backup | Working directory
- Select a folder and then click on Export/Backup.
- The folder remains saved. Exporting again updates the backup
Tip: Regularly create a new backup, ideally on an external medium (external hard drive, stick).
In the app, under "Help", you will also find a diagnostic function that you can run in the event of problems. The diagnosis provides you with the results with the corresponding recommendations for action within a moment.
