Windows: Set default program for SVG


beook can open any SVG program as an external drawing editor (see Drawing Editor). In Windows, this is done using the file ending shortcut. The following description is for Windows computers.

The external SVG editor can be set using the following steps:


  1. Press Windows keyImage
  2. Select "Standard programs" and the "Standard programs"program.
  3. "Select" Default Apps by File Type
  4. .SVG data type and select the required external editor. e. g. Inkscape


Attention: After a Windows or Internet Explorer update it is possible that this shortcut will change and the Internet Explorer will be assigned as a program. You then have to re-establish the link.
