These terms of use govern the access and use of the beook platform of ionesoft GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “ionesoft”). The “beook platform” includes the beook app, the website beook.ch, beook web, beook lessons, beook author and the servers consisting of a licence server, asset server, ticketing system and helpdesk as well as the beook cloud. The content offered in the beook platform (ebooks, media, add-ons) is referred to as “beook content”.
Alterations
You hereby accept that ionesoft may amend these Terms of Use at any time. The new terms of use will be re-published on this website and will take effect upon publication. You should consult this website regularly to be aware of the changes.
Use of the beook Cloud
With the use of the beook Cloud (hereinafter referred to as “Cloud”) your annotations will be stored on servers of third parties and transmitted there. The data is encrypted in the beook app and stored in the cloud with access protection. ionesoft can limit the volume of data transferred and stored, in particular a maximum file size for data transfer, maximum storage space and maximum storage time for your data.
By using the cloud, you agree to use the synchronization and exchange option only for content that is directly related to your training or activity. In particular, you are prohibited from using the beook platform to distribute illegal content, including (but not limited to) infringing content, discriminatory or infringing content, or content that compromises the security and integrity of recipients and their equipment.
By using the cloud, you also undertake to keep your personal data on your beook account up to date, to use the cloud and in particular the exchange option not anonymously or under a false name, or to use the cloud with an account that is not personal to you.
Use of beook lessons
With the use of beook lessons, the group administrator (teacher, instructor, lecturer, vocational trainer, etc.) can form groups (classes) and send learning assignments to the members of the group, which he can compile and plan himself. These learning assignments are processed in the beook app and the results are sent to the group administrator. The group administrator can then display, assess and evaluate the results in beook lessons in order to track the learning progress of the members and to control the learning success. The data is only available to the group administrator. With regard to the rights and obligations of the data, the same terms of use apply as listed above under “Use of the beook Cloud”.
Disclaimer of liability
ionesoft does not assume any liability with regard to the correctness, accuracy, timeliness, reliability and completeness of the beook platform and the beook contents.
Liability claims against ionesoft for material or immaterial damages resulting from the access or use or non-use of the beook platform, from third party interventions in the beook platform, from misuse of the connection or from technical faults are excluded.
All offers are non-binding. ionesoft expressly reserves the right to change, supplement or delete parts of the beook platform or the beook content without prior notice, or to discontinue publication temporarily or permanently.
ionesoft is not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activities. Obligations to remove or block the use of information in accordance with general laws remain unaffected by this. However, liability in this regard is only possible from the time of knowledge of a concrete infringement. Upon becoming aware of such violations, ionesoft will immediately remove these contents.

References and links to websites of third parties are outside the area of responsibility of ionesoft. We disclaim any responsibility for such websites. Access to and use of such websites is at the user’s own risk.
Copyrights
The copyright and all other rights to content, images, photos or other files on the website, in the beook platform and in the beook content belong exclusively to ionesoft or the specifically named rights owners. The written consent of the copyright holder must be obtained in advance for the reproduction of any elements.
Should you nevertheless become aware of a copyright infringement, please inform us accordingly. Upon becoming aware of any legal infringements, ionesoft will remove such contents immediately.
Exclusion of use
The use of contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation by third parties for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information material is hereby expressly prohibited. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited sending of advertising information, e. g. through spam mails.
