Registration

If the login does not work, there can be several reasons:

  • You do not currently have an Internet connection.
  • Your username / password is wrong.
  • The upper/lower case was ignored.
  • Contact Support if you have any problems.

Internet connection

  • You only need an internet connection to log in and download ebooks and media content.
  • The actual reading of the ebooks does not require an Internet connection.
  • You can start and use the app at any time without an internet connection.
  • So-called floating licenses are an exception. These also require an Internet connection when starting the app in order to reactivate the ebooks on the device.

Enable eBooks

If you can't load or unlock ebooks, there are several reasons:

  • You do not have an Internet connection.
  • You are not logged in.
  • Your activation code is wrong.
  • You have already unlocked the ebook on several devices.

Licenses

  • Under "My User" you can unlock new ebooks via the action "Redeem Activation Code".
  • You simply enter the newly received activation code.
  • The ebook is then automatically added to your user, the activation code no longer needs to be entered on other devices.
  • Store the activation code as a purchase receipt.

Maximum number of devices

  • The provider of your ebook specifies with how many devices you may use your ebook.
  • When installing an ebook, a device is consumed.
  • When uninstalling an ebook, the device is released again.
  • Contact support if you want to remove the registered devices.

Second device

  • Install the beook app on the second device.
  • Log in with your user. All associated licenses are loaded.
  • Install the desired ebooks on the second device.
  • With beook Cloud you synchronize your data (annotations and your own pages) between the registered

Cloud

With the beook Cloud you can synchronize enrichments of your ebooks on all your devices. Authorized persons can (school classes) and invite members (learners) by access code. Subsequently, this person can enrich his or her Share ebooks with a group or individual.
