You want to search for a text in a chapter or ebook, see only the unread pages or wrongly answered tasks? All this is possible in beook with the filter view.
The elements can be filtered and searched with various criteria in the content column, the task column as well as in the annotation column. You can access the filter view with the "Loupe" icon in the toolbar below the book cover.
The filter view has a trivalent icon, so that it can be clearly recognized whether a filter is currently set or not.

No filter active | The entire content is displayed by default. A click on the icon opens the filter view without a selected filter. |

Filter open and active | The filter can be defined. It remains active until you click on "Close". |

Filter active, view closed | The filter is still active. However, the pages can now be displayed. Clicking on the icon reopens the filter view with the currently selected values. |
Note: This filter view is not available in the simplified user interface on smartphones.
Restrict contents
The contents of the ebooks can be filtered according to various criteria:
- After a search text (see Search)
- According to progress, all, read or unread pages
- According to the own pages, the shared pages or the pages received via a dossier
In addition, the filter area can be selected
- All chapters show the pages of the whole ebook
- Bookmarks filters those pages that have been marked with a bookmark.
Note the active filter with the "green loupe". As long as this is green, not the entire table of contents is displayed, but only the result of the filter.
Narrow down exercises
Similarly designed filters can also be found in the exercises.
The elements of the exercise filter are:
- Search text (see Search)
- Progress, the solved, the unsolved or all exercises.
- Level of difficulty, or another grouping, depending on the teaching material
- Correctness, the wrong, approximately correct or correctly solved exercises.
- Classification, here you can enter and select a term for classification, if available.
In addition, the filter area can be selected
- All chapters show the exercises of the whole teaching aid
- Bookmarks filters those exercises that have been marked with a bookmark.
You can reset the exercises in the action menu of the toolbar and then answer them again.
